I provide dyslexia training to help organisations with employee retention, reducing sickness levels and improving staff wellbeing.
There are many strengths associated with dyslexia and ADHD – such as high levels of empathy and understanding, creativity and curiosity and strong problem solving skills.
However, associated traits that impact on executive functioning, such as organisational skills, focus and time management can lead to higher levels of stress and exhaustion.
By re-thinking some approaches to everyday tasks in a more neuro-friendly way, much of this stress can be reduced to help staff thrive at what they are good at and what they particularly bring to the table.
My goal is to give managers and trainers a firm understanding of dyslexia and ADHD to benefit the workforce and nurture their staff’s unique strengths. I believe that when people love their work, everyone wins.
My course Supporting learners with dyslexia in the helping profession is aimed at Managers, Practice Educators, NQ Assessors etc, to help increase understanding of dyslexia and other neurodivergent conditions such as ADHD. By reducing stigma and demystifying stereotypes, we can create safer workplaces, more open conversations, stronger connections, and improved communication.
